Home
Two family homes photographed during a period of transition. Following the deaths of our fathers, both houses were emptied as our mothers prepared to leave homes they had occupied for more than twenty years. The photographs record interiors suspended between occupation and departure, where traces of everyday life remain embedded in rooms, surfaces and light.
The work considers the relationship between architecture, memory and home, asking what remains when a place continues to exist but can no longer be inhabited in the same way.
